Yon Medieval Avengers

My first round submission for the tournament over at [link] . I'm pretty stoked on how this came out. I figured most people would just go for a pin-up or group shot so I decided to step outside the box a bit and create a Cover instead. I tried to do as much of the work by hand before I went to digital colors and all the lettering is by hand, I spent several hours just measuring out the Avengers logo itself.

The theme was to put any of the Avengers into a Medieval theme, I went with the classic line up. And as a nod to the old school annuals this image was born. A little antiquing and some torn paper to make it seem vintage, almost as if Stan Lee stumbled across some ancient papyrus and thats how he came up with these Marvel heroes lol.
